While GMA7′s flagship newscast 24 Oras was still reigning supreme with 34.8% last Monday, July 20, 2009, ABS-CBN primetime dramas chandelled to the 30s stratum. May Bukas Pa scored 34%, Only You 31.8%, and Tayong Dalawa 31.7%. This is based on AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila ratings.
Yes, the ratings on Monday were unusually high compared to the last few weeks. Even TV Patrol World, which normally registers 25% also hit 30%. It’s difficult to pinpoint what caused this. It wasn’t holiday and the rain wasn’t that violent. Kapamilya teleserye’s impressive performance may be attributed to the storylines of the show. Only You, for one, featured a heavy confrontation between the protagonists and villains.
Rosalinda and The Wedding were still weak despite the sudden surge in ratings.
As days pass, the battle for supremacy becomes more and more exciting. We’ll see how new shows such as GMA’s Darna and Stairway to Heaven and ABS-CBN’s Lovers in Paris, Dahil May Isang Ikaw, and Rubi will change the ratings landscape in the future.

24 Oras is I mean really the latest best newscast. It has sport, showbiz, and general news…but despite of it, I still love the kapamilya primetime bida block….

Boys Over Flowers is the MOST TALKED ABOUT KOREANOVELA TODAY
while All My Life is weak for me because the only strong thing there is ALKRIS LOVETEAM plus THEIR STORYLINE IS REALLY WEAK………its just LIKE THE TYPICAL TELESERYE………
May Bukas Pa is very great also! Good Stories, Good Actors and Actresses…Plus, its something that parents want their kids to watch is really for ALL AGES!!!

Only You is a teleserye with a different taste…it has a typical serye situation but different storyline…GOOD!
