Darna dominated the Mega Manila Ratings yesterday, flying high with 47.6%, when everybody thought that GMA-7 is losing the ratings game in Mega Manila. Everyone expected much from Darna and the expectations were fulfilled as it soared with high rating, giving a new hope for GMA-7′s ailing tv ratings.

mabuti naman kung ganun..at least they’ll be keeping the competition tight and more quality programs to be developed..Good work darna! Sana mamaintain nga lang nila pero at the state of things baka medyo bababa siguro dahil since it’s just the beginning at curious pa ang mga viewers..nevertheless, nakaland na rin sila sa isa sa top 5 spots..good for gma and they’ll be keeping abs-cbn on their toes again..di gaya nung una medyo nkampante ata ang abs kaya todo develop na ng quality series sila ngayon..UP, UP Kapamilya! Kaya natin to!

Cguro they can sustain that lead for a week or two. After that it is going to be a tight competition. Lalo na paparating na ang DAHIL MAY ISANG IKAW. More quality shows coming from ABS CBN. So tingin ko mapapadali na ang buhay ng ADIK SAYO. Napaka walang kwenta panoorin.
Certified kapamilya ako pero minsan pinapanood ko show sa GMA just for comparison. Palipat lipat ako kagabi from Darna at May Bukas Pa. In fairness, maganda yun pilot ng Darna. Mejo tataas pa rating nyan pag lumabas na yun Darna. But it can never dominate ratings game. It can get close to the top, it can take the lead, it can give a good fight, but never dominate the ratings game. Cguro pwede sa Manila (magagawan ng paraan ng AGB yan) pero nationwide hndi.

That is to be expected of Darna (being included in the top rating shows) because the character is already made (remember Angel’s version, Marimar, Dyesebel), so congratulations. But I must say kudos to May Bukas Pa for maintaining the viewership inspite of Darna “flying” into our television sets. The TNS (or is this really AGB?) mega manila ratings is somewhat hard to believe, however, showing May Bukas Pa lower in rank then Rosalinda, a never talked about series in my community (i.e., office, children’s school, and my neighborhood). It clearly shows AGB is padding the ratings to favor the GMA network, or they put their meters where ABS-CBN signal is not available (which is also a sort of favor to GMA). Anyway, congratulations to all concerned. The ratings war is a good thing for the TV viewers, it keeps the networks on their toes to make quality TV shows. My favorite is May Bukas Pa, the minor stories are changed every week so it doesn’t become boring and values, especially love for God and family, are emphasized. Keep it up!

This is not AGB surveys but TNS my dear na mas associated sa ABS …. But still Darna dominates…. AGB surveys i think just released their results and both shows Darna leading…. Just be happy for the show coz it really deserves to be no.1….

DARNA VS. DARNA. For those keeping tabs on the numbers game, Darna’s 44.1 percent pilot rating is Marian’s second highest primetime-series opening, after Dyesebel’s 44.9 percent. Her other two soaps in GMA-7, Marimar and Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang got 36.6 percent and 32.9 percent, respectively, on their pilot episodes.
For sure, there are people interested to find out how the pilot episode of Marian’s Darna fared against the premiere episode of Angel Locsin’s Darna back in 2005. For the record, Angel’s Darna still rated better with 47.1 percent—or a three-percent margin—compared to Marian’s Darna.

indeed, marian’s darna is a lot more exciting than any other shows now. sawa n kc mga pinoy sa mga ka dramahan. we really need to improve now on viewing options like sci fi, action and suspense tv shows. the effects are believable and mas magandang darna si marian, masayahin pero malakas at sexy. mataas pa rin and ratings considering the fact that 2nd time na to after angel’s series.
