Soul Siren Nina is a picture of fulfillment right now as she has been recently proclaimed the first female artist in the Philippines to receive a Diamond Record award for third album Nina Live!, which has sold 200,000 copies (and counting) to date.
An ASAP Sessionista, Nina was in tears after receiving the award on ASAP 09, the musical variety show she is a part of. Released in 2005, Nina Live! is the country’s fourth biggest selling album after Jose Mari Chan’s Christmas in Our Hearts and Constant Change, and Eraserheads’ Cutterpillow.

i bought the album when it came Oout coz i’m a fan talaga…
super like ko si nina, i dreamt pa nga of meeting her and sing along with her kasi halos lahat ng song dun sa album eh memorize ko..
i even searched sa net lahat ng lyrics…
she’s so lovable kasi and that’s no doubt..kaya nga when i heard na nakuha niya yung award na first female diamond record awardee i was so happy kasi nga i have a copy…

I have no question that indeed Nina has a good singing voice but we have to all CORRECT the wrong title given to her. Jessa Zaragoza was the first FEMALE artist to have reached 10x platinum at 40,000 each for her JUST CAN’T HELP FEELING album under Octo-Arts Records. Records will show that she has reached that amount but wasn’t given the award since she transferred that time to STAR RECORS. Jessa is the REAL FIRST FEMALE DIAMOND RECORD AWARDEE!
