Showtime debuted yesterday and entered the daily programming race in the no. 8 spot but only to a modest rating of 3.3%. The daytime arena is still being ruled by Wowowee with a TV rating of 20.4%. This is based on TNS national survey.
In the prime time rankings, Darna showed strength as it moved back to the no. 4 position and registered a 30% rating, making Lovers in Paris lose ground and fell back to no. 5 with 29.3% while Dahil May Isang Ikaw stayed on the no. 6 spot with 27.3%.

may tama ka. it’s pretty shame on me if i were one of their artist declaring that your network station (GMA7) is no.1 and most trusted one. for me, it’s ok to say that you are number one………”without blowing the trumpet of their network” just like what kapamilya always saying……..”dahil kapamilya…kayo ang no.1 sa’min!”

as far as i know, abscbn rules!
gma stars don’t really have talent. i can count in my hand the people who are note-worthy. there is no maturity in their acting styles. and OMG! the shows in gma are baduy! have you even tried comparing the lines between the shows from both networks. try watching ‘dahil may isang ikaw’ and compare it to ‘darna’. ang corny ng lines ng darna! argh! *i used darna because that’s the only show i rem form gma, nothing really sticks bec they aren’t really good* and the ones that gma says are ‘good’, aren’t even close to being acceptable! gma can’t even be creative! they’re stuck in a phase of mediocrity; staying on the safe side. producing shows that are repetitive and just plain DULL! plot lines are the same. the lines are horrid. and the actors, not really talented. the have the same facial expression the whole drama sequence! since the era of ‘fantaserye’ came, it stuck. opting to having those flashy shows without having good plot lines. also, why can’t they show something of their own. they’ve been showing too much asianovelas! and don’t get me started on their remakes…
oh and yeah! their singers and dancers are totally useless! try watching asap and sop on sundays and compare them. asap’s production numbers are great; it’s like watching them in a real concert! gma’s production numbers are like for amateurs. and i’m really sad for regine, she is a great singer but she’s letting herself go. i was actually happy to hear the news that she was going to abs cause i think she’ll do better there but alas it didn’t happen.
to end this, i just want to say that i rally don’t believe in most surveys especially the ones here in manila. i’m from manila and frankly, when i ask anyone what channel their watching, 1 out of 10 says its abscbn! so i think the surveys are just not true!
