The Kapuso Network may be regretting its decision to move reality-based artista search Starstruck V to weekends as it failed to perform as well as its previous seasons in its first two episodes. Starstruck V was only able to score 16.7%, lower than Pepeng Agimat and TV Patrol Sabado which registered 23.9% and 23.1% respectively, based on AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila survey on Saturday.

However, Starstruck V was able to defeat Kapamilya talk show Sharon. The Raymond Gutierrez-Carla Abellana-Dennis Trillo talent search scored 20% while the Megastar-hosted show 16.6%.
