It seems like 2010 is a good year for real-life sweethearts Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes as their romantic offering this summer earns almost P50 million on its first week of screening. This makes You To Me are Everything the fourth highest grossing locally produced movie in the Philippines for 2010.The top 5 most watched movies this year are:
- PhP142,972,287 – Miss You Like Crazy
- PhP95,050,474 – Babe, I Love You
- PhP82,023,631 – Paano Na Kaya
- PhP48,848,608 – You To Me Are Everything
- PhP32,326,254 – Working Girls
DOng-Yan’s only problem is, Star Cinema’s newest project Here Comes the Bride starring Eugene Domingo and Angelica Panganiban is now showing. We’ll see if it affects the performance of You to Me or if it gets pushed down to the number 5 spot.
Meanwhile, here’s the list of the top-grossing films in the Philippines overall for 2010.

no.1 daw sila nung election according to AGB?
“wala daw kasinungalingan, walang prinoprotektahan” hehehehehe.

this was just one of the many reasons that abs cbn dominates the philippine tv, wala pa ang gma sa 10% of dominance….
honestly they are too desperate thats why they already politicized the world of tv, i mean pandaraya….here in our place they pay per household just to follow their time slot specially the trying hard party pilipinas thats why there ratings went up….so i believe that the true ratings are the stars, movies, comercials and everything under the sun….certified that abc dominates it all….mabuhay abs cbn…. to gma…. ure just like the going out president gma…

GMA 7 CONTINUES TO GIVE MISLEADING INFOS TO THE FILIPINO PEOPLE ESPECIALLY ITS VIEWERS
They are saying that:
1) DIVA (2010, GMA7) is the first kantaserye in Philippine TV.
– Bituin (2002, ABS-CBN) starring Carol Banawa & Nora Aunor was shown years earlier and was the first kantaserye.
2) GMA 7 is the Most Trusted TV Station in the Phils by Reader’s Digest.
– ABS-CBN was awarded Gold in Reader’s Digest Most Trusted Brands 2010, GMA7 is only one of the Most Trusted companies
3) GMA 7 uses hologram technology in their Election 2010 coverage
– Joel Lamdani, VP of Orad Hi-Tech Systems Ltd claimed that GMA7 used only chroma key technology since their images did not show 360 degree images. It was ABS-CBN who uses a more hi-tech system provided by ORAD.
4) GMA 7 makes the viewers perceive that they came first than ABS-CBN by celebrating their radio’s 60th anniversary (DZBB) on mainstream TV.
– ABS-CBN radio (BEC, 1946 — 64 yrs) and ABS-CBN TV (1953 — 57 yrs) came first.

comment lang to chet dunrew’s posted facts..DIVA was the first kantaserye kasi me mga dialogues and scenes sila na entirely ginagawa thru kanta..ung BITUIN naman kasi was a story of individuals inclined to music..pro yung mga dialogue dun walang kantahan..concerts meron.. pro di sya masasabing kantaserye..

all figures shows abs-cbn is the best so why the fuzz? sayang lang c claudine kasi kung dati all her movies are box-office and she was the queen of abs-cbn, pano na ngayon yan? she’ll be like the then-jolina magdangal na lang bah? sayang ang talent girl..dont know if maybox-office queen ka pa kaya ever? at dito sa ‘min sa davao, in all mindanao and visayas regions, number one ang abs-cbn stars and star cinema movies kaya nagba-box-office.unlike gma simply reigns at “gma-greater manila area” only, which is in fact a fraction of the total of the population of the philippines..bow..thank you po..
