Despite threats of suspension, Showtime remains consistent in the daytime ratings as it tops again the Monday TV ratings nationwide, getting a TV rating of 20.5% beating Wowowee again in the no. spot with 20.3% while Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal rise up to no. 3 position with 14.4%, pushing down three Kapuso programs on the bottom half of the daytime race: Dragonball GT at no. 4 with 13.7%), Eat Bulaga at no. 5 (13.2%), Knock Out at no 6. (13.1%) and Kekkaishi at the no. 7 spot (12.5%).

Showtime now consistently holds the top spot in the daytime programming as it scored 22.75 beating Wowowee by 0.3%. The Vice Ganda-judged reality talent competition grabbed the coveted most watched daytime show in the country. The no. 3 and no. 4 spots belong to GMA-7 anime shows, Dragonball GT and Knock Out which were able to get 15.4% and 14.8% respectively.

The April 10 (Saturday) primetime ratings were a big slap on Claudine Barretto’s face as the premiere episode of her drama anthology on her new home studio GMA7 entitled Claudine lost big time to Maalaala Mo Kaya, which was topbilled by her older sister Gretchen Barretto. This is based on AGB-Nielsen’s Mega Manila survey.
Claudine scored 16.6%, almost 5% lower than Maalaala Mo Kaya, 21.5%. This is La Greta’s second appearance on the drama program.

ABS-CBN was able to show that revenge was indeed sweet last Sunday as they swept the Sunday floor with all GMA7 shows on it. After the Pacquiao-Clottey battle boosted the Kapuso Network’s ratings two Sundays ago, the Kapamilya Network came back with a vengeance.
In the daytime arena, ASAP XV took the lead while Your Song, Matanglawin and The Buzz ruled their respective timeslots.
Sunday primetime was also dominated by Kapamilya shows with Pilipinas Got Talent on top, followed by Rated K and Goin’ Bulilit.

As expected, Manny Pacquiao’s fight with Clottey topped the week’s rankings overall. The fight, shown on GMA7, registered 39% while rival network’s special program, the box-office hit A Very Special Love, managed to score 20.1%. Compared to Pacman’s previous fight, this one was a bit low. Nonetheless, it still was the most watched show this week. This is based on AGB-Nielsen’s Mega Manila survey.
Meanwhile, Agua Bendita was able to hit 35.2% on Monday while Panday Kids 31.1%.

Pressure rises for newcomer Andi Eigenmann as her first teleserye Agua Bendita continues to soar even before she could enter the picture. In fact, Agua Bendita has been the consistent leader in TNS nationwide survey. Now, the inspirational drama conquers AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila as it registered 34.3% on Thursday, February 25, while rival Panday Kids, 33.2%.

Daytime programming got more exciting as 3 of the Top 10 shows battle it out for daytime supremacy. Wowowee managed to get the number 1 spot and registered 24.1%, while Showtime faltered to no. 2 with a rating of 21.8%. The no. 3 position is now being occupied by the Kapuso show Eat Bulaga. The longest running noontime show was able to score a 15.4%, overtaking the new show by the Kapamilya network Melason in Love.

Two new shows successfully debuted last Monday, one in daytime and one in primetime programming. First is Melason in Love which was able to debut with 18.1% TV rating, landing in the no. 3 spot. Agua Bendita made a big splash on its first week with its Thursday episode even dominating its timeslot. No other primetime series from ABS-CBN had topped timeslot rankings on its debut week — not May Bukas Pa, not Tayong Dalawa. Agua Bendita swam to the top on Thursday with 32.3% while Darna, nearing its finale, only registered 31.5%.
Meanwhile, Diz Iz It’s performance in the ratings game continues to disappoint many Kapuso. Diz Iz It sank deeper even before it could surface. Diz Iz It scored 8.2% while Showtime 18.5%.
