In the recent release of TNS Ratings (May 23 to May 27, 2011). The daytime arena was ruled by 3 Kapuso shows. Temptation of Wife managed to get 17.2%, making it the No. 1 daytime program. The battle for daytime and primetime supremacy is getting stiffer as both the kapamilya and the kapuso networks are battling out to gain audience approval through the game named TV ratings. In the daytime race, Showtime continuously held the no. 1 position with 15.9% from its fellow Kapamilya show Wowowee which still at the no. 2 spot with 14.9% TV ratings. Two primetime shows from the two giant TV networks, GMA-7 and ABS-CBN, debuted this week. Wowowee finally regained its force, climbing up to the no. 1 spot, dethroning its fellow kapamilya show Showtime. Showtime finally bounced back to the no. 1 spot as daytime TV ratings got more exciting. Wowowee remained the consistent most watched noontime show for the last couple of months.
