‘Guns and Roses’ Poses Threat to ‘Amaya’ | June 6 AGB Nielsen Mega Manila Ratings

The daytime block is dominated by GMA-7 Kapuso shows. Eat Bulaga remains the most watched noontime show among the Mega Manila households, nabbing 25% audience rating, easily taking a firm hold of the No. 1 spot. In the second place, the finale week of Nita Negrita garners an 18.4% rating. Blusang Itim manages to secure the third place with 15.1% while 2011 NBA Finals from ABS-CBN 15.1%. In the fifth place is Sisid, the new show, with a 14.1% rating.

In the latest TNS/Kantar media overnight ratings for May 30, 2011, Eat Bulaga remains on top in the daytime segment with 16.3% ratings. My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho follows with 14.5%. GMA-7′s new program Sisid, which stars Jackie Rice, debuts with an impressive rating of 14.1%, placing it on the No. 3 spot. Slam Dunk manages to score 13.6% and settles for the No. 4 spot.

The 3rd spot belongs to TV Patrol with 25.4% followed by the new show from the Kapamilya Network, The Biggest Loser Pinoy Edition, which debuts with a 20.5% rating. GMA-7′s new Epic Teleserye Amaya debuts with 19.1% rating and lands in the No. 6 spot.

In the recent release of TNS Ratings (May 23 to May 27, 2011). The daytime arena was ruled by 3 Kapuso shows. Temptation of Wife managed to get 17.2%, making it the No. 1 daytime program. On the number 2 spot, the longest running variety show in the country Eat… Bulaga got 16.8%. ABS-CBN’s Showtime scored 13.7%. The No. 4 position was occupied by My Lover My Wife with 13.5% while NBA 2011 Live was at the no. 5 spot with 13.47%.

It seems like Eva Fonda is back! Christine Reyes’s first topbilled teleserye on ABS-CBN Eva Fonda was a surprise hit a few years back. Now she’s back in a new drama series called Kristine, based on the best-selling pocket novel series from Precious Hearts Romances. Kristine seems to be pulling off an Eva Fonda 2.0 with its pilot episode generating an 8.8 rating against East of Eden‘s 6.6%.

Meanwhile, the recent change in time slots in ABS-CBN did not affect Eat Bulaga‘s supremacy.

Kapamilya teleserye Noah posted a resounding 15.2% rating with its pilot episode on Monday, July 12, 2010 according to AGB Mega Manila People’s survey. This put Noah, starring Piolo Pascual, Kristine Hermosa and Zaijan Jaranilla, the second most-watched TV show that day, just behind the usual topper Agua Bendita, another ABS-CBN teleserye starring Andi Eigenmann. Rival shows from the GMA7 network Pilyang Kerubin and Endless Love scored 14.2% and 14% respectively.

Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo said goodbye last Friday on top as the Kapamilya teleserye’s final episode registered 14.5% on July 9, 2010. But Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes was able to put up a good fight with Endless Love scoring 0.1 less with 14.4%.

Maalaala Mo Kaya continues to dominate its timeslot with its recent episode scoring 8.9% while rival Claudine 7.3%.

Party Pilipinas pulled off another non-consecutive win last Sunday with 7.4% while ASAP XV 5.6%.

Sunday primetime was swept by the Kapuso Network as all shows from 24 Oras to SNBO winning respective battles.
