Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo said goodbye last Friday on top as the Kapamilya teleserye’s final episode registered 14.5% on July 9, 2010. But Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes was able to put up a good fight with Endless Love scoring 0.1 less with 14.4%.

Maalaala Mo Kaya continues to dominate its timeslot with its recent episode scoring 8.9% while rival Claudine 7.3%.

Party Pilipinas pulled off another non-consecutive win last Sunday with 7.4% while ASAP XV 5.6%.

Sunday primetime was swept by the Kapuso Network as all shows from 24 Oras to SNBO winning respective battles.

Dahil May Isang Ikaw ended last Friday with a silver trophy but Kapamilya fans would be glad to hear that what got the now defunct drama beat was another teleserye, the inspirational drama May Bukas Pa. The Santino-led teleserye scored 34.2% while Dahil May Isang Ikaw 33.9%.

Meanwhile, Jaya recently expressed her disappointment with the newly reformatted SOP Fully Charged in a Pep.ph report. But it seems like the Queen of Soul isn’t the only one unhappy about it as its ratings continued to sink even lower than Matanglawin, rival ASAP XV‘s pre-programming. SOP Fully Charged registered 11.1% while ASAP XV 16.5% and Matanglawin 11.7%.

Another timeslot that many ratings addicts might be watching out for is the clash between rival loveteams Kris Bernal-Aljur Abrenica and Kim Chiu-Gerald Anderson. The territory was won by Kimerald as Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo, also starring controversial Kris Aquino, crushed The Last Prince scoring 34.4% and 31.7% respectively.

24 Oras ruled Monday ratings while Darna settled to the third place.

Darna fell to the no. 2 spot as 24 Oras took over dominance on Thursday, November 5, among Mega Manila households based on AGB-Nielsen survey. The Kapuso flagship newscast registered 36.4% while Darna 35% and TV Patrol World 31%.

Ikaw Sana also defeated Katorse once again after scoring 27.1%. Katorse was able to hit 25.6%.

Meanwhile, in the daytime arena, Showtime was also able to pull off an upset by edging out Sis and Last Romance.

May Bukas Pa fell 0.3% short to beating consistent primetime ruler Darna. May Bukas Pa scored 30.9% while Darna 31.2%. Although the Pinay superheroine was able to stand against Santino, its biggest rival on Wednesday was a Kapamilya teleserye on a later primetime slot — Dahil May Isang Ikaw.

Dahil May Isang Ikaw, in fact, shared the no. 1 position with Darna despite its later schedule. The Jericho Rosales-Kristine Hermosa comeback project garnered 31.2% against Rosalinda’s 25.2%.

News programs 24 Oras and TV Patrol World also shared a spot, both registering 28.6%.

While the gap between Stairway to Heaven (29.6%) and Lovers in Paris (29.5%) narrowed, Katorse (24%) drifted farther away from Ikaw Sana (19%).

Tayong Dalawa bade goodbye on top as the Kapamilya teleserye scored 39.1% in the Mega Manila ratings game, putting it on the top position on Friday, Sepember 25, 2009. This is probably the highest finale that an ABS-CBN drama series had in years, since rival network GMA7 dominated Mega Manila. One of the most notable was Maria Flordeluna a few years back.

For the second day in a row, Darna occupied the no. 2 spot with 35.5%. Many are expecting, however, that the superheroine will bounce back to the top now that Tayong Dalawa is out of the picture.

News programs 24 Oras (GMA) and TV Patrol World (ABS-CBN), and drama series May Bukas Pa (ABS-CBN) completed the top 5.

Meanwhile, Katorse made waves in the early primetime period as it registered a whopping 26.9%, unusually (and impressively) high for the timeslot.

ABS-CBN is starting to showing signs of an impending command over Mega Manila weekend ratings, based on the latest weekend survey by AGB-Nielsen Media Research.

But of course, rival GMA7 won’t make that easy for the Kapamilya Network. The figures below show that the race was tight. Both networks have their share of wins and losses.

Last Saturday, Agimat, The Singing Bee, Cinema FPJ, and Maalaala Mo Kaya all scored higher than its Kapuso rivals. But Joey’s Quirky World, Eat Bulaga, Startalk, Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho and Imbestigador also dominated their respective timeslots. In fact, Eat Bulaga even went beyond 31%. We still don’t have TV 5′s Talentadong Pinoy‘s rating as of now.

Sunday ratings aren’t so different. ABS-CBN dominated some timeslots including that of the following: Matanglawin, ASAP 09, Rated K, and The Singing Bee. On the other hand, Kap’s Amazing Stories, All Star K, Show Me da Manny, and Sunday Night’s Box Office also won their respective battles. We don’t have numbers on The Buzz, Showbiz Central, Your Song Presents: Babalikang Muli, and others.

Friday’s game was dominated by GMA7 with Darna leading the pack, followed by 24 Oras and Adik Sa ‘Yo, which was on its final night. Rosalinda scored higher than Tayong Dalawa yet again. Meanwhile, Katorse did it again, scoring better than All My Life.

The unrelenting rain can take credit for the unusually high ratings of primetime programs of both Kapuso and Kapamilya networks. From the news programs to Dahil May Isang Ikaw and Adik Sa ‘Yo, ABS-CBN and GMA shows boast of 30 plus figures.

24 Oras garners 34.8% outperforming TV Patrol World with 30.1%.

Rosalinda loses to Tayong Dalawa but it still managed to score 33.3%, a bit below Tayong Dalawa‘s 34.3%.

Adik Sa ‘Yo also finds a new confidence with its 30.9% rating, edging out Dahil May Isang Ikaw with 30.1%.

May Bukas Pa also registers 31.4% despite Darna‘s intimidating 40.5%.

On its second day, Dahil May Isang Ikaw saw no change in their ratings. Like yesterday, the powerhouse drama registered 28.8%, beating its Kapuso rival Adik Sa ‘Yo by half a point.

Katorse remains beneath All My Life. Katorse, also on its second episode, posted 19.3%, a bit lower than its pilot. All My Life scored 21.4%.

Darna was able to debut with a bang. Darna did not just have a strong pilot episode, it was also able to sustain it for the rest of the pilot week and keep Kapamilya and fellow Kapuso shows at a far distance.

The week closed immaculately for the Pinoy superheroine. Darna registered 42.1% last Friday, August 14, 2009. As Marian Rivera reigned supreme, two other Kapuso shows were just below her: 24 Oras with 21.2% and Rosalinda with 30.4%. Tayong Dalawa came in at no. 4 with 29.6%.

While Eat Bulaga consistently rules the daytime ratings, Darna, on the other hand, is marking the primetime block as its territory as it enjoys a continuous increase in ratings.

Darna, on its 3rd day, topped the primetime ratings game and came in with a 46.7% rating. This sudden increase may be a result of the first time appearance of Marian Rivera as Darna.

Two other GMA-7 shows big improvement in the Mega Manila primetime ratings game. Rosalinda was able to finish third and for the first time posted its first 30+ rating with 31.6%, followed by Adik Sa ‘Yo, placing in to the no. 5 position with a 28.5% ratings.

Tayong Dalawa is the only ABS-CBN show in top 5 primetime ratings and managed to register a 29.6% rating and occupy the no. 4 position.
