Tayong Dalawa dominated the AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila ratings yet again last Tuesday, July 28, 2009. The Kapamilya teleserye scored 32.7%, the highest that day.
On close second was Zorro with 32.4%. May Bukas Pa completed the top 3 with 31.5%.
Zorro and 24 Oras remain the only Kapuso programs that registered ratings above 30%. Rosalinda and Adik Sa ‘Yo only managed to hit 28.2% and 25.8% respectively.

There are no movements in the Daytime and Primetime TV Ratings for July 28, 2009 Tuesday. The Top 3 spots for the Daytime Ratings were occupied by 3 Kapamilya shows: Wowowee (24.4%), Kambal sa Uma (22%) and Precious Hearts Romances (17.1%). While Eat Bulaga was in tight grip of the no. 4 spot with a rating of 16.5%, the no. 5 spot was taken over by Maria De Jesus Ang Anghel sa Lansangan posting a 15.1% tv rating.

The Kapmilya shows are unstoppable in reigning the Nationwide TV Ratings both in daytime and primetime for July 27, 2009 (Monday) Ratings.
Wowowee garnered a staggering 29.1% rating and lead the daytime ratings. Followed by other 3 more Kapamilya shows: Kambal sa Uma (23.8%), Love or Bread (20.2%) and Precious Hearts Romances (18%). One rival show from the Kapuso network managed to consistently crack the Top 5 Daytime ratings and that is the longest running noontime variety show Eat Bulaga with a 16.5% rating.

Even though the storyline was stretched too far alfready, Tayong Dalawa managed to keep its audiences gripping their seats last Friday, July 24, 2009, based on the Mega Manila ratings released by AGB-Nielsen. Tayong Dalawa topped the most-watched programs list for that day with 33.7%. Rival Adik Sa ‘Yo recorded 25.2%.

Only You continuously reaches new heights in the National TV Ratings. It boasted a remarkable 40% rating just behind May Bukas Pa which also posted a higher rating, 42.7%.In third place, TV Patrol World registered 37.5%. Top 5 of the National Prime time TV Ratings are being occupied by ABS-CBN (Kapamilya) shows.

As it turned out, Sineserye Presents Ngayon at Kailanman’s stay in the top 10 list of most watched daytime programs isn’t forever. The Heart Evangelista-JC De Vera starrer was missing in the chart last Wednesday, July 15, 2009 based on TNS Philippines Television Audience Measurement.

Tuesday was a lucky day for all Kapamilya fans. ABS-CBN almost swept the primetime and late night blocks yesterday, July 14, 2009, based on AGB Nielsen Mega Manila Survey.
All eyes are still on Rosalinda who has been rather weak in its first two weeks. Only You sucked all the beauty from Rosalinda which 27.9% while the former registered 29.0%. This was the second time in a row this week; Rosalinda’s rating fell to 24.5% last Monday. Could it be because people’s interest has started to wane?

It’s been an action-packed weekend in the Mega Manila ratings arena! The Kapuso and Kapamilya networks both have winning and losing battles but here are some of the most remarkable!
Last Friday, Totoy Bato’s final episode hits the top spot after a series of injuries from romantic comedy Korean adaptation Only You. At least, the Robin Padilla-Regine Velasquez starrer exited gracefully.
TV Patrol (25%)finally steals news supremacy from 24 Oras (23.5%)!
All My Life (19.3%) still had no muscle to topple Boys Over Flowers (21.4%).

Competition just got stiffer as TV5 enters the picture. The crown for the leading reality game show was won by Talentadong Pinoy (hosted by Ryan Agoncillo) which scored 20% defeating GMA7’s Are You the Next Big Star (17.4%) and ABS-CBN2’s The Singing Bee (19.1%) last Saturday, June 26, based on AGB Nielsen Philippines.
This was just one of the many shows from TV5 that edged out the two giant networks last Saturday. Other highlights include:

ABS-CBN’s newest addition to PrimeTime Bida The Wedding won over the nation as the romantic comedy series entered the Top 10 Primetime shows for June 29, 2009, Monday.
The Wedding ranked 9th with 22%. Although it defeated Cruel Love, it is still low in terms of debut ratings. This may be caused by it’s late night schedule. The timeslot has always been said as “jinxed” because Kapamilya shows in this timeslot rarely fly or at least beat the competition.
