The battle for daytime and primetime supremacy is getting stiffer as both the kapamilya and the kapuso networks are battling out to gain audience approval through the game named TV ratings. In the daytime race, Showtime continuously held the no. 1 position with 15.9% from its fellow Kapamilya show Wowowee which still at the no. 2 spot with 14.9% TV ratings. Meanwhile at the no. 3 spot, the Kapuso... 

Wowowee finally regained its force, climbing up to the no. 1 spot, dethroning its fellow kapamilya show Showtime. Wowowee posted a 16.2% TV rating, enough to secure the top spot away from Precious Hearts Romances: Impostor with 15.9% rating (no. 2 spot) and Showtime and Rosalka with both shows getting 14.2%. Other daytime shows like Langit sa Piling Mo from the Kapuso fences settled for the no. 4... 

Showtime finally bounced back to the no. 1 spot as daytime TV ratings got more exciting. Showtime reclaimed the throne from Wowowee with TV ratings of 19.7% while Wowowee slips to the no. 3 position with 17.4%. The biggest gainer is Rosalka as it moved to no. 2 with 17.9%. Precious Heart Romances: Impostor sat at the no. 4 spot with 16.8%. In the primetime ratings game, Agua Bendita is immovable... 

Newly launched Kapuso daytime drama Basahang Ginto starring Carla Abellana debuts to the no. 10 spot with 10.1% on Monday, May 24, 2010 based on TNS National Survey. Meanwhile, Wowowee suddenly reclaimed the number 1 spot from Showtime, registering a TV rating of 17.2% compared to Showtime 16.3%. Precious Hearts Romances: Impostor maintained its no. 3 position with 15.4%, Rosalka at the no. 4 spot... 

Despite threats of suspension, Showtime remains consistent in the daytime ratings as it tops again the Monday TV ratings nationwide, getting a TV rating of 20.5% beating Wowowee again in the no. spot with 20.3% while Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal rise up to no. 3 position with 14.4%, pushing down three Kapuso programs on the bottom half of the daytime race: Dragonball GT at no. 4 with 13.7%), Eat Bulaga... 

Showtime now consistently holds the top spot in the daytime programming as it scored 22.75 beating Wowowee by 0.3%. The Vice Ganda-judged reality talent competition grabbed the coveted most watched daytime show in the country. The April 10 (Saturday) primetime ratings were a big slap on Claudine Barretto’s face as the premiere episode of her drama anthology on her new home studio GMA7 entitled Claudine lost big time to Maalaala Mo Kaya, which was topbilled by her older sister Gretchen Barretto. This is based on AGB-Nielsen’s Mega Manila survey. Claudine scored 16.6%, almost 5% lower than Maalaala Mo Kaya, 21.5%.... 

ABS-CBN was able to show that revenge was indeed sweet last Sunday as they swept the Sunday floor with all GMA7 shows on it. After the Pacquiao-Clottey battle boosted the Kapuso Network’s ratings two Sundays ago, the Kapamilya Network came back with a vengeance.
