Darna fell to the no. 2 spot as 24 Oras took over dominance on Thursday, November 5, among Mega Manila households based on AGB-Nielsen survey. The Kapuso flagship newscast registered 36.4% while Darna 35% and TV Patrol World 31%.
Ikaw Sana also defeated Katorse once again after scoring 27.1%. Katorse was able to hit 25.6%.
Meanwhile, in the daytime arena, Showtime was also able to pull off an upset by edging out Sis and Last Romance.

May Bukas Pa finally reclaimed the No. 1 spot in the prime time ratings game, posting a 35.2% rating overtaking TV Patrol World which now settles for the second spot with 34.8%, in the third spot is Lovers in Paris with 31.6% it managed to push back Katorse to the no. 4 position with 31.5% a 0.1% difference from Lovers In Paris.
Dahil May Isang Ikaw returns to the Top 5 with 29.3% putting Darna down to no.6 which was able to grab a 28.2% TV rating.

May Bukas Pa fell 0.3% short to beating consistent primetime ruler Darna. May Bukas Pa scored 30.9% while Darna 31.2%. Although the Pinay superheroine was able to stand against Santino, its biggest rival on Wednesday was a Kapamilya teleserye on a later primetime slot — Dahil May Isang Ikaw.
Dahil May Isang Ikaw, in fact, shared the no. 1 position with Darna despite its later schedule. The Jericho Rosales-Kristine Hermosa comeback project garnered 31.2% against Rosalinda’s 25.2%.
News programs 24 Oras and TV Patrol World also shared a spot, both registering 28.6%.

Eat Bulaga suddenly bounced back up to no. 3 with16.7% yesterday after being edged out by Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Uber and Banana Split Daily Servings the day before.
Meanwhile, Darna was a non-mover, staying at the no. 6 position with 26.7%, beaten down by Dahil May Isang Ikaw at no. 5 with 28.3% and Katorse with 30.2% at the no. 4 spot.

Nagsimula sa Puso had a strong debut week. Friday ratings for the new Kapamilya afternoon soap were favorable, registering a 16.3% TV rating, placing third behind Wowowee which was able to score 20.7% at no. 1 and Eat Bulaga! at no. 2 with 16.9%.

Pinoy Big Brother Double Up promises an exciting season not just inside the famous house but also in the ratings arena as the reality franchise finally picked up and scored almost 28% last Wednesday, October 14, 2009 based on AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila survey.

There are no changes in the Daytime rankings as Wowowee continuously triumphs posting a 22% yesterday, October 14. On the second spot was Precious Hearts Romances: Ang Lalaking Nagmahal sa Akin with 20.2% .  Nagsimula sa Puso had a strong 3rd day with 17.9% while Eat Bulaga and Pinoy Big Brother Double Up shared the no. 4 spot with 17%.

Mega Manila ratings are still generally low. But as the metropolis and the suburbs slowly recover from the onslaught of Ondoy, Darna seems to pick herself up along with the rest of the victims. Darna flies back to the 30s zone, scoring 31.8%.
ABS-CBN shows lost almost every battle in the primetime arena except for Katorse, which stole back timeslot dominance from Ikaw Sana. Katorse hit 19.4%, a bit higher than the Jennylyn Mercado-Mark Herras drama series.
Pinoy Big Brother Double Up remained below 20% with 19.8%.

“Double the house, double the housemates” is Pinoy Big Brother Double Up’s edge this season but it seems like it’s no match for the other reality franchise Survivor Philippines: Palau at least for the former’s second episode, based on AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila survey.
