May Bukas Pa fell 0.3% short to beating consistent primetime ruler Darna. May Bukas Pa scored 30.9% while Darna 31.2%. Although the Pinay superheroine was able to stand against Santino, its biggest rival on Wednesday was a Kapamilya teleserye on a later primetime slot — Dahil May Isang Ikaw.
Dahil May Isang Ikaw, in fact, shared the no. 1 position with Darna despite its later schedule. The Jericho Rosales-Kristine Hermosa comeback project garnered 31.2% against Rosalinda’s 25.2%.
News programs 24 Oras and TV Patrol World also shared a spot, both registering 28.6%.

Nagsimula sa Puso had a strong debut week. Friday ratings for the new Kapamilya afternoon soap were favorable, registering a 16.3% TV rating, placing third behind Wowowee which was able to score 20.7% at no. 1 and Eat Bulaga! at no. 2 with 16.9%.

Kapamilya fans should be celebrating, the fight for yesterday ratings turned out favorable to ABS-CBN as the top 5 positions for both daytime and primetime are all ABS-CBN programs based on TNS national survey. Kambal sa Uma and Wowowee led the daytime race while TV Patrol World and May Bukas Pa, primetime.

Pinoy Big Brother Double Up failed to wow the Philippine viewers, debuting only at no. 10 with an 18% TV rating, while other Kapamilya shows continuously dominated the top 5 rankings.
Leading the pack was TV Patrol World with 33.7%, followed by the second placer May Bukas Pa with 32.2%. Meanwhile, Katorse managed to get a 31.4% besting out Lovers in Paris which was able to get a 30.4%. Completing the top 5 list was GMA 7’s Darna with 25.7%.

Finally, the much awaited Friday ratings are here.
Tayong Dalawa bade goodbye on top as the Kapamilya teleserye scored 39.1% in the Mega Manila ratings game, putting it on the top position on Friday, Sepember 25, 2009. This is probably the highest finale that an ABS-CBN drama series had in years, since rival network GMA7 dominated Mega Manila. One of the most notable was Maria Flordeluna a few years back.

TV Patrol World again took the top spot with 34.5%. On its tail was May Bukas Pa with 32.5%.
On its second day, Lovers in Paris emerged victorious as its rating rocketed to 30.6% and moved up a notch to no. 3, overtaking fellow kapamilya show Katorse. The Erich Gonzales teleserye dipped to the no. 4 spot with 29.6% while Darna sat pretty on the no. 5 position with 26.4%. The Kapuso show managed to fend off Dahil May Isang Ikaw to no. 6 with a TV rating of 25.9%.

Still leading the primetime pack was TV Patrol World with 35.7%, followed by May Bukas Pa on the no. 2 spot with 31.8% and Katorse, 30.3%. This was somewhat expected as people were still glued to news programs for updates on the typhoon’s aftermath. Tayong Dalawa’s absence paved the way for Katorse to move up.
The Koreanovela remake Lovers in Paris had a modest debut yesterday with 27.4%, starting the game at the no. 4 spot. The KC Concepcion-Piolo Pascual starrer edged out Darna wby 0.4%. Darna scored 27%.

As expected, Kapamilya teleserye Tayong Dalawa swept the floor with all the other shows on it. The Gerald Anderson-Kim Chiu-Jake Cuenca starrer’s final episode hit 45.8%, miles above all the other programs, on Friday, September 25, 2009 based on TNS national survey.
Inspirational drama May Bukas Pa placed second with 39.3%. TV Patrol World completed the top 3, 38.6%.

Audrey’s passing did wonders on ABS-CBN ratings yesterday as Tayong Dalawa finally dropped the bomb, pulling Darna a few points behind. Kimerald fans may be upset for Kim Chiu’s unexpected departure but they also have something to celebrate as Tayong Dalawa reaches the top once again based on the latest Mega Manila survey by AGB-Nielsen Media Research.

On the eve of its finale, Tayong Dalawa once again dominated the primetime race. It registered a 40.3% rating, beating its fellow Kapamilya rival and the former no. 1 May Bukas Pa. The Santino show managed to stay in the no. 2 position posting 37.7%, followed by TV Patrol World which slips to no. 3 with 36.7%.
Katorse confidently occupies the no. 4 spot with a 3.3% lead against another Kapamliya show Dahil May Isang Ikaw. Darna remains at no. 6 with 29.5%.
