Darna was able to debut with a bang. Darna did not just have a strong pilot episode, it was also able to sustain it for the rest of the pilot week and keep Kapamilya and fellow Kapuso shows at a far distance. The week closed immaculately for the Pinoy superheroine. Darna registered 42.1% last Friday, August 14, 2009. As Marian Rivera reigned supreme, two other Kapuso shows were just below her: 24... 

Darna is still flying high in the Mega Manila Ratings according to TNS last Wednesday. In its 3rd day it posted a 45.5% and kept the Kapamilya shows at bay and maintained its No. 1 position. 24 Oras sits still in the no. 2 position with a 32.1% while Rosalinda is slowly increasing its ratings, generating a 30.8% and now moves up in the no. 3 position. Eat Bulaga! managed to enter the top 10 Mega... 

Darna was in a steady flight, occupying the no. 2 spot with 35.4% for the second day, edging out May Bukas Pa which fell down to no. 3 position with 34.6%. TV Patrol World moved its way to the top with a 35.5%, another 0.1% lead over Darna. The release of TV ratings for yesterday, August 10, 2009, had been incredibly quick and early because of the public’s anticipation of how awesome or how awful Darna performed. And to all Kapusos’ satisfaction, it was awesome. Darna indeed soared in its first night of airing. (We can now imagine Wilma Galvante laughing out loud.) Aside from topping TNS Mega Manila and coming in on second... 

If you look at ABS-CBN’s ratings last Monday, you could think that the Kapamilya Network’s power begins to dawn on Mega Manila again. ABS-CBN Primetime Bida hit its highest since the Angel Locsin’s Darna triggered GMA7′s reign in the first half of this decade. May Bukas Pa scored a whopping 36%, beating all hell out of Zorro with 28.7%. Tayong Dalawa came in at no.2 with 34.4%... 

Tayong Dalawa dominated the AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila ratings yet again last Tuesday, July 28, 2009. The Kapamilya teleserye scored 32.7%, the highest that day. On close second was Zorro with 32.4%.
