If you look at ABS-CBN’s ratings last Monday, you could think that the Kapamilya Network’s power begins to dawn on Mega Manila again. ABS-CBN Primetime Bida hit its highest since the Angel Locsin’s Darna triggered GMA7’s reign in the first half of this decade.
May Bukas Pa scored a whopping 36%, beating all hell out of Zorro with 28.7%.
Tayong Dalawa came in at no.2 with 34.4% putting Adik Sa ‘Yo to shame, which only managed to reach 23.1%.
Only You, garnering 33.2 %, seemed determined to embarrass Rosalinda with only 23.5%.

It seems like many waited for Kris Aquino’s very first interview on President Cory Aquino’s passing. The Buzz scored double Showbiz Central’s last Sunday, August 2, 2009. The former leader’s daughter broke his silence and gave her showbiz talk show her first interview which led to The Buzz’s staggering ratings.
The Friday before that, Tayong Dalawa once again dominated the ratings game. Tayong Dalawa registered 33.9%, the highest that day. May Bukas Pa and Zorro completed the top 3.

Santino and the rest of the cast of May Bukas Pa should be praying right now. May Bukas Pa once again succumbed to Zorro’s powers. ABS-CBN’s inspirational drama was inched out by 0.6% by the Richard Gutierrez starrer.
But the Kapamilya fans should not worry because the top spot remained in Tayong Dalawa’s hands. The heavy drama starring Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson was the only program that was able to go beyond 30% last Thursday. Boys Over Flowers also rated better than All My Life.

ABS-CBN Primetime Bida almost swept Wednesday ratings game with May Bukas Pa (33.6%) rejoicing on top. The inspirational drama inched out the Richard Gutierrez-starrer Zorro by more than 3%. Tayong Dalawa came in at 2nd with 32.2%. Only You, which nears its ending, settles at the third spot with 30.9%.

GMA’s two Sine Novelas continuously dip deeper in the daytime program ratings list. Kung Agawin mo ang Lahat sa Akin again posted 13.3% and now sitting in the no. 8 position. While Ngayon at Kailanman suddenly plunged to no. 9 and suffered a 2.1% loss; it only posted a 12.8% rating. Ngayon at Kailanman ratings consistently fluctuate, it will be no big surprise if it won’t make it into the top 10 daytime program ratings again.
Boys Over Flowers is up again with 27% and gained a high lead against Zorro with 23.6%.

Tayong Dalawa dominated the AGB-Nielsen Mega Manila ratings yet again last Tuesday, July 28, 2009. The Kapamilya teleserye scored 32.7%, the highest that day.
On close second was Zorro with 32.4%. May Bukas Pa completed the top 3 with 31.5%.
Zorro and 24 Oras remain the only Kapuso programs that registered ratings above 30%. Rosalinda and Adik Sa ‘Yo only managed to hit 28.2% and 25.8% respectively.

GMA-7 (Kapuso) shows won’t give up the fight for Primetime Supremacy just like that. Two of the Kapuso shows managed to grab the top 2 positions in the Mega Manila Ratings list for July 27, 2009. 24 Oras was able to hold on the no. 1 spot with a rating of 34.5% compared to its Kapamilya rival show TV Patrol World getting only a 28.8% rating. While Zorro got a share of 33.7% and was able to topple down May Bukas Pa with a 32.8% rating.

Even though the storyline was stretched too far alfready, Tayong Dalawa managed to keep its audiences gripping their seats last Friday, July 24, 2009, based on the Mega Manila ratings released by AGB-Nielsen. Tayong Dalawa topped the most-watched programs list for that day with 33.7%. Rival Adik Sa ‘Yo recorded 25.2%.

Rosalinda is up a notch with a 23.1% TV rating. From no. 8 it moved up to no. 7 position and now trailing behind Zorro with 24.2%, steady at no. 6 spot.
Boys Over Flowers managed to stay put at the fifth spot although its rating dipped to 25.9%. For the past few weeks Boys Over Flowers was a consistent 30% up ratings until Wednesday when it suddenly dropped.

The battle for primetime supremacy in Mega Manila is tougher than ever. Last Tuesday (July 21), based on AGB Nielsen Media Research, Zorro swooshed his way to the top with 36.4%. Mike Enriquez and Mel Tiangco of 24 Oras were at a far second with 32.6%. ABS-CBN dramas Tayong Dalawa, Only You and May Bukas Pa completed the top 5.
Boys Over Flowers dropped below 20%, defeated by the Aljur Abrenica-Kris Bernal tandem of All My Life. Rosalinda was still too weak to perform with 28.6%
